General News

  • September 1st, 2008. Our total user count is now close to 570,000. See our updated statistics page.
  • June 15, 2008. We've revised pricing for some of our manuals. The updated pricing is now reflected across the online store.
  • May 30, 2008. We've now reached over half a million users across all our sites - and the usage rate is increasing. We expect to hit our target of a million users within the next 2-3 years!
  • February 1st, 2008. We've upgraded www.learning-styles-online.com to support more functionality for instructors and teachers. Some features are now available only on a license.
  • December 25, 2007. For those who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas. Wishing everyone a happy New Year!
  • October 15, 2007. We've upgraded www.learning-styles-online.com to use a new database platform to handle significantly more users, with better performance and more capacity for concurrent users.
  • October 1, 2007. The new-look Memletics.com Update email is now in place. The email features recent order information for each recipient, as well as their www.learning-styles-online.com profile, if any.
  • August 2, 2007. We've reached 175,000 newsletter subscribers and 350,000+ users of Memletics products and services. See the statistics page for more information. More work is underway on products and services - visit again soon or sign up to the newsletter to keep in touch.

  • December 25, 2006. For those who celebrate Christmas, Merry Christmas. Wishing everyone a happy New Year!
  • 10 September, 2006. Updates to the Memletics.com store are complete. Updates include multiple products per order, multi-product discounts, faster PDF generation times, updated & real-time-cost shipping options.
  • July 15, 2006. During the northern hemisphere summer "quiet time" we're busy updating the Memletics.com store with some new features, including multiple products per order and some other user requests. We plan to have these online by 15th August 2006. 
  • June 20, 2006. Our learning styles website, www.learning-styles-online.com, is now on the first search results page returned by Google for "learning styles."
  • June 18, 2006. Less than a year after we hit 100,000 users of Memletics products and services, we have now exceeded 200,000 users. This includes more than 180,000 users of www.learning-styles-online.com. We've now achieved 20% of our goal to help 1 million people improve their learning skills.   • March 11, 2006. We're now at 141,000+ users of Memletics products and services. See the statistics page for more information.
  • September 1, 2005. The printed version of the Memletics Concept Mapping Course is now available.
  • August 15, 2005. We've released the new Memletics Learning Skills Test.
  • July 22, 2005. We've reached over 100,000 users of Memletics products and services. See the statistics page for more information.  
  • April 10, 2005. We've released the new Memletics Test Book, with over 330 questions from the Memletics Accelerated Learning Manual.
  • January 3rd, 2005. Memletics statistics page updated. Over 42,000 people have now used at least one of the Memletics Manual, the Learning Styles test, the speed reading course or the concept mapping course to help themselves learn more effectively! We've also added a new page on the educational use of Memletics, including schools and subjects.
  • December 27, 2004. Like everyone, we are shocked by the events unfolding in Asia after the earthquake and tsunami. We've dedicated the concept mapping course to the victims, and will be donating part of the revenue from this course to the Red Cross.
  • December 24, 2004. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all!
  • December 22, 2004. We're happy to announce another new product, the Memletics Concept Mapping Course. Users can order, read and provide feedback on early formats before final publication in February 2005.
  • October 24, 2004. We've launched another new product, the Memletics Effective Speed Reading course.
  • September 9, 2004. We've reached 21,100 registered users of Memletics across the Memletics Manual and the Memletics Learning Styles inventory. See our statistics page for more information.
  • July 12, 2004. We've reached 15,000 registered users of Memletics across the Memletics Manual and the Memletics Learning Styles inventory. See our statistics page for more information.
  • May 25, 2004. You can now upgrade your manual automatically on the website. The cost is simply the difference between your current version and the one you want to upgrade to. Log into the store and select "upgrade" from the user manual.
  • April 26, 2004. We've launched a new learning styles product. You can now buy a PDF file for less than US$10 that includes all your learning styles test results from www.learning-styles-online.com. Go to the results page and buy from there.
  • April 22, 2004. We've just announced the new Memletics Volume Licensing program. Go to the volume licensing page for more information.
  • April 15, 2004. We now have a new "look and feel" for the website & book cover. Let us know what you think!
  • March 20, 2004. We've just completed the 2004 Memletics User's survey, with great results. We'll be making changes to the site & manual over coming months.
  • February 22, 2004. We now have a page describing our Memletics Partner Certification program. You can get certified and start teaching Memletics yourself!

  • September 16, 2003. Memletics is officially announced to the media. See the press release.
  • August 26, 2003. Learning Styles partner site lauched. We're developing a few portal sites to focus on key Memletics Topics. The first is on learning styles^, with more planned on other topics.
  • August 2, 2003. Initial training workshops on Memletics conducted. Using small focus groups we've gathered information to create the first instructor-based courses for Memletics. See more on Courses for the Memletics Accelerated Learning System.
  • June 15, 2003. Here's a quick snapshot of early users of Memletics. Memletics is now in use by people in the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Hong Kong, Ecuador and Fiji. Students from schools such as University of Phoenix, University of Memphis, University of Houston, St John's High School (Toledo Ohio), Oxford Brookes University (UK), Universidade Independente (Portugal) and more are using it to help their study skills. Users range in age from 15 to over 65.
