Accelerated Learning Research and Development
Learn more about some of our current research projects.
Advanogy.com, the publisher of the Memletics Manual and Memletics.com, is
an innovative company focused on using technology to help individuals learn
faster and perform better. In addition to publishing current and up-to-date
information on accelerated learning, we're also forging the way ahead in
particular areas by doing our own research and development.

about Memletics page.
Current Research Projects
We have two research projects underway at present - Memletics WebAssert
and Memletics VR:
Memletics WebAssert
How much do you remember two weeks, six months and two years after a
training course? This research project is investigating a web solution to
help people remember training long after their initial classes. Based on our
research for Memletics, we're combining several technologies to provide an
innovative solution to an age-old learning problem.
Memletics VR
How can Virtual Reality (VR) technology increase learning performance?
With the ever-reducing cost and increasing functionality of VR equipment, VR
is becoming a viable and cost-effective way to train in certain fields. We
believe the benefits of this technology are yet to be fully understood, so
we are embarking on a long term project to assess, understand and develop
this technology using Memletic principles. Current topics of research
include:
- Technology assessment. Assessment of current technologies
(hardware and software) for use in practical training environments.
- VR for presentation & communication training. Enhance
presentation and communication training using a variety of VR
environments.
- VR for behavior change. Using VR and specialized scenarios to
help people change negative behaviors and learn new behaviors.
- VRAssert. Using programmed repetition and VR to enhance long
term retention.
Future Research Projects
Our primary aim is to find ways to use technology to improve the way we
learn and remember. In many ways our society is still using technology from
the fifteenth century when it comes to “knowledge transfer.” This is the
printed book. Information technology and the Internet help us create and
spread information faster than ever before. Unfortunately though, we still
don’t have good technology that helps us transfer knowledge, skills and
experience efficiently between individuals, organizations and generations.
You can see people and generations repeatedly making the same mistakes.
Science is yet to find or develop the technology that will allow us to
reach the next stage of “knowledge transfer” between one another. When it
does, this technology will change society as much as books and literacy have
over the past six hundred years.
Perhaps Memletics, in future research, will help contribute to that next
stage.
