Learning Styles - new light on using them for faster learning
"Learning Styles" are a way to help improve learning performance. However
several studies have shown that the current use of styles in learning
is not effective. Memletics provides a new approach to learning styles.
Memletics provides much information on how to use learning styles
effectively in your learning:
- Other references suggest you use learning styles alone to help you
learn faster. After looking at the results of several studies on the
effectiveness of learning styles in schools, we've taken a different
approach. Learning styles can help you learn faster, however to
gain real benefits you need to use them as part of a comprehensive
learning system. Rather than just focusing on one dominant style, Memletics helps
you make use of your secondary styles as well.
- The Memletic Styles are one key part of Memletics - one part of five.
You use them to help you choose techniques in the other parts of
Memletics. All of the parts working together is what helps you learn
faster.
- We've enhanced the usual learning styles to make them easier to
understand and use. Also included are ways you can expand your dominant
and secondary learning styles.
- The Manual includes a 70 question styles test to help you
identify your learning styles. From this you can graph your results on the
Memletic Styles graph. You can see an example below.
