Memletics Partner Certification Program

Do you want to develop an alternative income stream by teaching Memletics to others? Do you want to take advantage of pre-written materials you can start using with students right away?

This page provides an overview of the Memletics certification program and the various certifications that are becoming available. There are two main types of certification available - instructor certification and organization certification. Although technically not a certification, we also have a content developer option available. In summary:

• Instructor Certification: The instructor certification is for individuals. This certification allows an individual to teach using Memletics materials and helps ensure a common standard of instruction. There are three grades available, each with increasing levels of knowledge needed and privileges assigned.
• Organization Certification: The organization certification is for organizations wishing to provide Memletics training to a larger audience. There are two levels of organization certification, depending on the level of service the organization can provide and whether they seek geographic exclusivity or restrictions.
• Content Developer Option: Lastly, the content developer option is for individuals or organizations wishing to modify the Memletics Manual content for internal purposes, or to create new products from it.

Comparison Matrix

The following table provides a comparison of the various certifications available. More details on each line follow the table.

I1. Access to discount pricing

All certified trainers and organizations have access to discount pricing on the Memletics Manual. All individuals trained using Memletics material as a basis must have a current registered copy of the Memletics Manual. You may direct individuals to the Memletics.com website to obtain their copy (using your account ID to ensure you receive credit), or you may procure the materials on behalf of your participants prior to your course conduct.

I2. Listing on Memletics.com

All trainers and organizations receive a listing in the Memletics.com “Accredited trainer directory.” (coming soon)

I3. Ranking priority in Memletics.com listing

The ranking priority in the Memletics.com listings is as follows:

Platinum organization, Gold organization, grade 1 instructor, grade 2 instructor, grade 3 instructor.

I4. Access to partner forums

All certified trainers and organizations receive access to the restricted partner forums area. This area supports discussions with fellow certified partners and Memletics.com representatives.

I5. Access to Memletics Manual basic content

All certified trainers and organizations receive Memletics Manual basic content. This consists of:

• A PowerPoint deck containing an overview of Memletics and the key Memletics graphics.
• Promotional material in Word document format
• Various other materials as they become available, such as marketing material, business support materials, process and procedure forms, and more. Our aim is to create a documentation kit to support your operations.

I6. Includes Memletics manual source content

This is the entire Memletics manual in an open Microsoft Word document. This may then be customized to your specific internal requirements. You may also create derivative products after agreement with us.

Note that each user of any derived material from the Memletics Manual must still have a valid Memletics user license. The base for this is the same cost as the standard Memletics Manual, however this may be negotiated based on the intended use of the material.

I7. Geographic exclusivity/restriction available

Geographic exclusivity/restriction is available for Platinum organizations in certain circumstances. Geographic exclusivity means that we will not certify competing organizations in that region for an agreed time. Geographic restriction means that we will restrict the number of competing organizations in a region for an agreed time. For example, we may certify two organizations to operate in a particular state for two years. This helps ensure that pricing & availability stays competitive.

Applicants must show that:

• The organization is capable of adequately covering the intended geographic area, e.g. you must have training locations available or planned within reach of the majority of the population.
• The organization will commit an appropriate expenditure to spread Memletics in that region.
• Geographic exclusivity/restrictions will spread Memletics faster than open licensing of multiple organizations.

Please contact us for more information if you would like to apply for geographic exclusivity/restriction. Providing answers to the above criteria will help our communication. Note that in most cases we will only grant Geographic restriction unless you can show you have the capabilities to spread Memletics and you agree to pricing controls (to ensure Memletics is available to as wider audience as possible). Geographic exclusivity/restriction may also require an additional fee depending on the area sought.

R1. Prerequisites

Instructor – Grade 3

The only pre-requisite prior to applying for this grade is that you have purchased the Memletics Manual.

Instructor – Grade 2

To apply for this grade you must have a pass at grade three level, plus you must have trained a minimum of 20 students in Memletics.

Instructor – Grade 1

To apply for this grade you must have a pass at grade two level, have trained a minimum of 50 students in Memletics, and have had training or experience in instructional methods.

Organization – Gold level

To obtain Gold level, your organization must:

• Be a registered business entity
• Have at least one grade 2 instructor who performs at least 80% of training hours.
• Be able to provide basic training services and facilities.

Organizations – Platinum level

To obtain platinum level, your organization must:

• Be a registered company or organization
• have at least one grade 1 instructor who performs at least 40% of training hours, and oversees 100% of training hours.
• Be able to provide a higher level of training services and facilities.

Content developer

To obtain the developer license, you or your organization must have at least one other certification on this table.

R2. Depth of knowledge of Memletics

Each instructor grade requires a different level of knowledge of Memletics. We will shortly be issuing syllabus that provides the minimum level of knowledge needed, arranged by Memletics part and instructor grade.

R3. Maximum class size

Individual instructors working on their own are limited to a class size of five people. Organizations may train larger class sizes as long as they can show they have appropriate facilities to do so.

R4. Can use branding in broadcast advertising

Individual instructors working without the support of a certified organization may use the Memletics brand, logo, or promotional material in advertising in their local area (less than 500,000 people) only. Organizations may use the branding in broadcast advertising however should clear material with us prior to commencement of a national or larger campaign.

R5. Can train other instructors

Only grade 1 instructors may train and assess other instructors. The syllabus for grade 1 instructors includes additional topics on instructional methods and techniques.

P1. Application Fee

This fee is payable when you apply for a certification. On receipt of payment, you will receive materials appropriate to your level of application. This fee also includes up to three attempts at the certification process. This fee is not refundable once you start your first certification attempt.

P2. Annual license fee

This is the annual license fee for each certification. Note that you are certified for 12 months and there is a renewal process at the end of the period. Each 12 month period starts on the date of your successful application. We offer a 30 day money-back guarantee.

Note - we offer discounts to charities, not-for-profit educational organizations, and individuals/organizations in countries with lower economic means. Please contact us for more information.

P3. Royalty - % of training revenue

There is no royalty payment based on a % of training revenue for at least the first 12 months.

P4. Hours of support included

Each certification includes a limited amount of telephone and/or email support from the creator of Memletics. More time may be available depending on purpose & needs. This time may be charged at an agreed rate.

M1. Application & Certification Processes

Application process - instructors

1. Order the appropriate certification option. Start here or page back up to the "Applying for certification" section, select your region and click Continue.
2. You will receive a 5 page certification guide in electronic download format (PDF). This describes what topics from the Memletics Manual you need to know, and to what depth.
3. Use the certification guide while you learn the parts of the Memletics Manual you need to know.
4. Once you are ready to sit an examination, contact us to schedule it. The certification application fee includes 3 attempts to pass the examination.

Certification process - instructors

1. You will need to one of two exams. For grades 3 and 2, this is a telephone based exam.
2. Once you've passed the exam, you will be provided with a link to finalize your certification. This involves payment of the first year's fee.
3. After you've paid the annual fee, you will receive the materials for your level of certification. You will also receive instructions on how to set up your partner account and order products on behalf of your students.
4. You are now ready to teach Memletics to students.

As this is a relatively new program, we are offering early applicants 50% off the application and annual fees.

M3. Availability
