Payments Help Page
This page provides further information on payments. You can view:
What are my payment options for the Memletics.com store?
You can pay using the following methods:
- Credit card - secure online payment. Your card is processed
online, and you receive immediate access to starting materials. If possible, we prefer you use this option.
- Credit card - phone in or fax details. You can call or fax in
your credit card details. We provide domestic numbers for the USA and Australia.
- Credit card - send by mail. Following your order a form will be
presented for you to print, fill out and send to us by mail.
- Check, bank draft or money order. We can accept checks (for one book)
and bank drafts drawn in US dollars, UK Pounds, Euros or Australian dollars. We can also accept
money orders.
- Wire Transfer, Money-gram, Wire-gram. We can accept wire
transfers, money-grams or wire-grams, however there is a small processing
charge added to your total. This option is not usually economical for small amounts (ie less than five books).
Please check the local availability and cost of these options before
proceeding.
For all these options, you will receive detailed instructions once you've
saved your order. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Are my credit card details safe?
We use strong encryption technology (SSL) to protect your credit card
details while they travel over the Internet, and they are further encrypted
once they reach the store. We do not store credit card numbers after
processing.
What details will appear on my credit card bill?
A charge for the amount on your order will appear on your credit card
under the name "Advanogy.com."
We ship to customers worldwide, and so we deal with the complexities of
different currencies, taxes and languages.
I'm a US customer. How does Memletics.com handle currencies?
While the base price of all products on the website are in US dollars, we
bill your credit card in Australian dollars using a reputable bank. This
helps us offer you the Memletics Manual at a lower price. Note that all
physical products ship from Chicago, Illinois.
You will see the Australian dollar total (AU$) on your credit card
payment page. This is the current
Australian price based on published exchange rates. The Australian dollar
price on the final order details will match the amount on your credit card
bill.
Often credit card providers use a slightly different exchange rate,
and/or charge a foreign transaction fee. If this concerns you, please check
with your bank before making your purchase.
I'm an Australian customer. How does Memletics.com handle currencies?
The Australian dollar amount (AU$) that appears on the site will be the
amount billed to your credit card. There is no foreign exchange conversion
fee applied.
I'm not a US or Australian customer. What are the currency implications?
The Australian dollar amount (AU$) that appears on the credit card page will be the
amount billed to your credit card.
Often credit card providers use a slightly different exchange rate,
and/or charge a foreign transaction fee. If this concerns you, please check
with your bank before making your purchase.
Why doesn't the price on my credit card bill exactly match my order
total?
If your credit card account is not based on Australian dollars, the
foreign charge on your bill should match the Australian dollar amount from
your order. As mentioned above, your credit card company may apply slightly
different exchange rate and/or apply a foreign transaction fee, so your
final "local currency" amount may not match your order total. If this
concerns you, please contact your financial institution for more
information.
If the amounts are significantly different, please contact us so we can
inform other users.
I'm a United States customer. What are the taxation/duty implications?
We cover duty & tax for Memletics products. There is no state-based tax
for Memletics products.
I'm an Australian customer. What are the taxation implications?
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in the order total. The
order details page (accessible by the Customer Menu in the store) serves as
a taxation invoice and includes the GST component (in the the notes).
I'm not a US or Australian customer. What are the taxation implications?
We are unable to advise on taxes applicable to your country or region. If
your order is taxed by an organization on it's way to you, please advise us
so we can update this page for other users. |
